PlayPumps International is committed to preserving your privacy and protecting your sensitive information. We do not sell or rent our mailing lists to any organization, corporate sponsor, or partner. We often promote corporate sponsors or partners through our newsletters, but we do not provide our list to anyone, except for circumstances where we note that information will be provided to the partner. This language will always be provided on the input device or page content.

Online Donations
PlayPumps International accepts online donations with international credit cards. We do not store any credit card numbers or keep card information on file. We do store donor information such as name, mailing and billing addresses, and e-mail address. We store this information to help enable additional donations or to use with newsletter and online appeal information. You may unsubscribe from these types of mailings at any time by contacting us at info@playpumps.org.

Cookies
A "cookie" is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. PlayPumps International does not keep general cookies for your site. We do not require any logins or special "member" features. We believe everyone should have complete access to the information we provide on our website. We do not write a cookie to your system with a donation. We may write a cookie when clicking an e-mail link to unsubscribe or change your e-mail settings. This cookie will disappear when you close your browser. We do not store cookies on user systems.

Security
Our online donation forms use 128-bit SSL encryption from Kintera, Inc. (United States office giving) and GivenGain, Inc. (South Africa office giving). Both vendors maintain security certificates and offer the best security available. Our United States office giving forms ask for a CVV/CID number from your credit card and will not be processed without that number. All our forms require an e-mail address so that we may send you a gift receipt. Contests
PlayPumps International will occasionally hold contests for prizes and recognition to build awareness of our efforts. Each contest will display different Terms and Conditions based on the rules for that individual contest. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of any Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrant, PlayPumps International, and contest sponsors in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the District of Columbia or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the District of Columbia.
